"You shouldn't have to plan your life around pain, stiffness, or recurring injuries."
Maybe you're taking pain medication before your beer league hockey game, modifying workouts you used to enjoy, or worrying that a long hike, golf round, or run will leave you on the couch the next day. Perhaps you're frustrated because you're already exercising, stretching, and doing everything you've been told to do, yet the same headaches, back pain, or injuries keep returning.
You don't need to give up the activities you love. Sometimes all it takes is identifying the missing piece.
My Approach To Chiropractic Care
It starts with understanding how your entire body is moving. Every visit includes assessment and adjusting of both the spine and extremities when needed, recognizing that movement restrictions in one area can affect how the rest of the body functions. The goal is to restore mobility, improve balance between joints, and reduce unnecessary stress throughout your system.

Technique used
- Most adjustments are performed using a traditional hands-on approach
- For patients who prefer a gentle or lower-force option, instrument-assisted adjustments or the use of a drop piece may also be used when appropriate
- All adjustments are tailored to the individual, taking into account injury history, surgical history, bone quality, comfort level, and how the body is responding over time
- Adjustments may be performed lying face up or face down, seated, or standing, depending on what is most comfortable for the area being addressed
If you don’t want an area adjusted, you will never be forced into it. Open communication is essential to providing the best experience and optimal results. The neck is the most common area patients feel hesitant about, and I work very comfortably with patients who have concerns or fears in this area.
MEET DR. ADAM WILL
Before becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Adam Will competed as a professional lacrosse player. Now a retired athlete, he continues to maintain a high level of fitness while managing the long-term effects of past injuries and concussions. Dr. Will works with active adults and athletes in Port Coquitlam and the Tri-Cities who want to continue training, working, and living fully despite past injuries. His approach is collaborative, realistic, and grounded in the understanding that staying active long-term requires more than quick fixes.
Questions About Care
Chiropractic care is commonly sought for neck pain, back pain, headaches, sciatica, shoulder pain, hip pain, sports injuries, mobility restrictions, and recurring aches and pains. Every assessment is individualized to determine what is limiting your movement, what treatment may be most beneficial, and what you can do at home to keep making progress between visits.
Every visit includes an assessment of both the spine and extremities, including areas such as the shoulders, hips, knees, ankles, wrists, elbows, and jaw when appropriate. Together, we will identify your goals, whether that is reducing pain, improving mobility, returning to a sport, or continuing to participate in the activities you enjoy.
Your first visit includes a detailed health history, physical examination, movement assessment, and discussion of your goals. Findings and recommendations will be reviewed with you, and adjustments are typically provided on the first visit, when appropriate and there are no contraindications.
Treatment is always tailored to your comfort level and preferences. If you are uncomfortable with a particular adjustment, alternative techniques and treatment options are available. Your care is collaborative, and you are always in control of your treatment decisions.
The number of visits depends on factors such as the nature of your condition, how long it has been present, your goals, and how your body responds to care. Recommendations are individualized and typically broken down into groups of 4 or 6 visits. This allows us to track your progress, reassess your goals, and make adjustments to your treatment plan as your symptoms and function improve.
