Many people don’t realize that chiropractors are trained to assess and treat the extremities—including the shoulders, elbows, wrists and hands, hips, knees, ankles, and feet. Old injuries—like a fall onto an arm or repeated ankle sprains—can quietly change how your body moves and compensates over time, often contributing to pain elsewhere, including the spine.
Nerves travel from the spine all the way to your fingertips and toe tips, and irritation can occur at multiple points along that pathway. Nerve signals are a two-way street—movement, strength, coordination, and sensation all rely on clear communication. When something along that chain isn’t moving or functioning well, it can be the missing link in why an issue isn’t fully resolving.
This is where my inner nerd really comes out. I’ll figure out what’s actually driving the issue, explain how it connects to your pain, and help you focus your care.
