Dr. Adam Will is a Chiropractor treating a patient at a race when he was at school.

I didn’t grow up going to a chiropractor. I grew up in a “suck it up” household — if something hurt, you took an Advil and kept moving. Playing competitive sports year-round, I dealt with constant aches, headaches, and back pain by my teens, but I assumed that was just part of being active. It wasn’t until I was 19, while playing Junior A lacrosse, that I tried chiropractic care for the first time. As my body started moving better, the constant pain and headaches eased, as well my training and athletic performance improved.

That same year, I lost one of my best friends. Spending time with his parents afterward, I learned how chiropractic care had helped him manage pain, sleep better, and function more comfortably while living with a rare genetic condition (multiple epiphyseal dysplasia) from childhood. His quality of life was significantly better with consistent chiropractic care. Those two experiences shaped how I practice today. They showed me that chiropractic care is about restoring movement, reducing unnecessary neurologic stress on the body, and helping people feel more confident in how they move — whether they’re training, working, or simply trying to stay active long-term.
